In 2007, we purchased a four and a half acre ranch in Canyon Country with the potential to be one of the largest rescue facilities in Southern California.

We look forward to the day when the aerial view will show six state-of-the-art dog and cat kennels and a feral cat sanctuary.

The development of this Sanctuary will enable us to dramatically decrease the number of pets destroyed in public pounds. Our main concentration will be on the nearby Lancaster Shelter, which has the highest euthanasia rate of all 24 Los Angeles County Shelters.

At the same time, the Sanctuary will become a safe loving haven for those pets we rescue who were so neglected and abused that they are beyond rehabilitation.They will live as house dogs with plenty of room to run and play.

OUR RESCUE HORSES AND PONY

The Sanctuary has a beautiful large stable and plenty of pastures, so we are also helping horses in need. We already have 10 rescued horses and the cutest pony. Most of them are seniors, or have special needs, and they are loved and spoiled by our great staff and volunteers.
