Ringo

A particularly cute, nice size, mixed breed dog - coloring of a German Shepherd, black tongue, ear set of a Sharpei, size of a Terrier. Ringo is alert, smart, good with other dogs, durable, compact, approximately 30lbs. He is an enthusiastic eater, fit, loves his pillow bed and being around people, though he is quite shy – we are working on socializing him. Not aggressive. Not overly active. He is curious and interested in the household activity. A lovely boy. Scar to left side of his face. Suffers from seizures but treating him with medication (at a cost of only $2.85/month) and he is MUCH improved!!! Deserves a nice, warm, compassionate home. Will be neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Harvey

Harvey is a four years old Boxer-mix. He's neutered, chip'd and completely vaccinated.Harvey is a GREAT friend and alert companion.
He's indoor trained. He is very territorial. Good with other dogs outside the home.

Hes athletically perfect and loves the water. Needs GOOD running everyday or becomes irritated. (If you're a jogger this is your perfect marathon partner.)

Sophie

Sophie is a 7 month old spayed sweetheart, up to date on all her shots.  Adopted from Downey shelter on her last day.  Good with all dogs, hyper, somewhat ok with cats.  Can be in a home with kids 10 and up since she is still a puppy and in the nibbling stages still.  Loves toys and bones, loves the doggie park, and would like to have a canine friend in her new home.  She is extremely loving and knows a few commands, but would benefit from some training.  Walks pretty well on a leash, she is housebroken and knows to scratch at the door when she has to go!  Meet this cutie and I know you will fall in love!!

Meet Leo! Young (4 yrs.) Beautiful Orange Tabby needs special Mom or Dad now!!

Hand raised, and much loved, his owner is terminally ill and only wants him to have a loving home before she goes. I bottle fed and raised him and adopted him to her at 8  months old. He has proven to be loving, chatty and cuddly. Also a character as you can see in the pics below. He is fine with small dogs that are use to cats and he loves people. Very friendly!

Ginger is about 5 years old and loves people and kids.  She likes cats, but should be the only dog.  She walks great on leash and off.  When Ginger is out for walks either on or off leash she ignores other dogs - she just doesn't like them in her face.  I have met Ginger, sat and visited with her, given her treats and can attest to her sweet and gentle nature

Circa is a two and half year old black lab mix. She’s sweet tempered, friendly and enjoys being with people. She loves to play catch, run around the yard and has been around young children.  She has been living in a small apartment and would benefit from having her own yard to run and play in.  She is a little insecure around other dogs, but seems to warm up to them.  She is in good health, has been spayed and is current with all of her shots.  Circa is an affectionate dog that needs a good home and lots of love and attention.

Hi, my name is Hussey and I’ve had a tough life.  My owner died and the heirs just left me with the house.  Then I was mauled and came close to dying.  These nice people let me live in their backyard and I simply adore them.  I roll over and let them pet my tummy.  I’m always ready for some petting.  The problem is they are moving out of state and can’t take me with them.  Please I’m about 7 years old and need a nice place to live.  Please help me. Bodie

It was just 10 days ago when someone tied me to a dumpster and left me with no food or water. After being tied there for over 24 hours, someone finally decided to help and untied the twine rope around my neck.

Since then my new best friends at Marksmen have been taking care of me until I find a new family to love.

On 10-May, I went to see the Vet at the Sharp Pet Hospital. Dr. Christian Sharp said he thinks I'm just a year old, and that I look like a black laborador/german sheherd mix. He gave me my shots and a prescription for antibiotics so I don't get sick from my previous situation. He also said I'll have to be neutered.

Now I'm healthy, good-lookin' and happy! All I need is a permanent home.

I'm housebroken and I'm learning my commands - I want to please. I like people and dogs (I haven't met any cats yet). I'm still a puppy, so I need toys to chew on.

Louie was originally a rescued dog at 5 weeks old. Whoever had him cut his tail and didnt treat him great however he has matured into a loving dog that is always by your side. This dog is perfect for an elderly person who doesnt want a rowdy dog or one that always wants to play, or a family with kids who want to love him.

Dozer is a 7 year old black lab with an incredible pedigree.  Both of his parents are national award winners.  All of his litter was sold for a whole lot of money, but we got him as a favor to the family.  He is THE MOST athletic dog I have ever seen and anyone who has ever seen him would agree.  He absolutely loves to play and is full of energy.  He is a very smart dog as well.  He would be a prime dog for an outdoorsy active family.  We have raised him as an inside dog and always sleeps with me in my bed or with my parents in their bed.  I am looking for a really great home who are willing to take in a truly amazing dog.  This is a very difficult thing for me to let him go but it is something I just have to swallow.  If you are interested please email me at CaseyDubya@gmail.com or call me at (310) 422-9532.
