Senior Dogs
"A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself."
Nothing compares to the sadness of an older dog dumped in a strange, cold, cruel shelter. We, at the Lange Foundation, believe these older dogs deserve so much better. We know they still have a lot of life left and lots of love to give. We know senior dogs are actually treasures!
In fact, many of our dogs are: Mature, Seasoned, Experienced, Mellowed, Sophisticated.
Take a moment to look at a few of our senior friends. You just might find the companion you have always wanted.

Grandpa is a perfect gentleman. He is charming, affectionate, and polite. Grandpa is a nine year old chihuahua/miniature pinscher mix. He was at the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter and was so sweet and wonderful that we couldn’t just leave him there. Grandpa is a small dog so he has plenty of love left to give. He is easygoing and gets along wonderfully with every dog we’ve seen him from big to little. He has a good bill of health and shiny clean teeth. Grandpa is a cheerful, happy little guy and will make any family happy.
