Long-Term Fostering: Animals in Need
Long-Term Fostering: Animals in Need
We are looking for foster homes for these animals that have been at the shelter a long time and need a long term break from the shelter environment. Some of them has special medical needs and some have just been overlooked by adoptive families We need folks willing to open up their hearts and homes while we continue to look for permanent adopters, for as long as that takes.
If you are interested in fostering any of these special animals, come in and fill out the Foster Agreement Application.
Find out more about:
Evan
Evan is a doll; he is a cat that might be allergic to other cats... well, not really but he has a bad chronic upper respiratory condition; so the kennel is not a good environment for him. Lange will take care of his treatment for life, so we really just need somebody to love, love, love him. And that’s easy with him.

Chio has been with us for seven years. For seven years, he has been waiting for that perfect someone to overlook his few quirks. Medically, he suffers from seizures and has a thyroid condition which are both treated easily with medication.
Chio is a sweet boy, who needs someone to show him the right kind of affection. Because he has been in the shelter environment so long, he can be a bit stubborn. Can’t really blame him for being a tad pushy! But nothing a bit of guidance and maybe a tasty treat cannot fix. If you have it in your heart to give this little guy a reprieve from the kennel, please contact us.

Garfield
Garfield is a 14 year old adorable, cat that needs a home; he is on a special diet; so for us is difficult to keep him one of our big cat areas.
Roxbury
He is a 4 year old shitzu-mix with some skin allergies, that would do much better in a home.
